As you know from the last term, the Middle East has always been an area embroiled in conflict.
Today we will look at the current war in the Middle East, the US and British led invasions, and Australia's involvement.
The war in Iraq basically stemmed from the issue of whether or not Iraq was producing and storing weapons of mass destruction. UN inspectors found no evidence to prove this, the US insisted that Iraq had them and were determined to eliminate this threat.
So what were the actual reasons the US and Britain invaded Iraq? Was their intervention justified?
