The Kiddie Keep Well Camp Lifeguards of 2002 were trained by Joe, our lovely instructor... Mister, you can leave your hat on. Staff were: Daisy our shorty UK legend; Hayley the token Aussie (who didn't even get to lifeguard for one session!!!); Sean the South African with more CIT admirers than anyone in the world; Graeme our discman obsessed South African; Astra the Star of the English World; Tanja the Penobscot Princess from South Africa; Alex our Milano King of the World; Trixie our trusty Acquatics Director; Dana our New Zealander Chickie; Lisa our UK Lifeguarding Guru; and, Becky our British Lifeguarding Extrordinaire (who got to lifeguard for TWO SESSIONS!!!)
Staff Training Teams 2002
Care Bears
Led by Big Dan, the Kiddie Keep Well Care Bears were a fearsome lot with their Care Bear stares. KKWC Care Bears were Faith, Becky, Sean, Catherine, Helen, Terry, Eleonora and Anthony.
Ninja Turtles
Those Kiddie Keep Well Counselors lucky enough to call themselves Ninja Turtles (because they won absolutely everything), led by Hayley, were: Graeme, Ciaran, Jose, Gorana, Katie, Ramsey, Anne-Marie, Katia and Tillie.
Warriors
Bev, the slowest runner on head staff, led the mighty Kiddie Keep Well Warriors. The 2002 KKWC Warriors were Khotso, Crystal, Kyle, James, Dennis, Skywalker and Tanja.
Fighting Tigers
The Kiddie Keep Well 2002 Fighting Tigers were led by Trixie (who earnt that nickname during Head Staff training... and it stuck.) The KKWC Tigers were Dana, Tom, Alex, Alexandrea, Lisa, Sara and Given.
Power Rangers
The Kiddie Keep Well Power Rangers were led by Miss Daisy, and they had the best blessings and songs the camp had ever seen! The KKWC Power Rangers were Mike, Astra, Melissa, Bonita, Little Dan, Robin, Mary, and Ilya.
Apparently Mary and Robin deserve the credit for the ditties below...
