Programs
The Anglican Education Commission Diocese of Sydney
Provide a large variety of half day courses. Some of these courses will be of relevance not only to Religious Education teachers, but to teachers working in Christian schools, and some of these courses may be of interest to teachers in areas such as Ancient History, Society & Culture and English.
Asia Education Teachers' Association
Development for those who have an interest in incorporating Asian perspectives in their teaching. Last year the courses included:
- Supporting the Implementation of International Studies
- Including Asian Case Studies in Geography
- Creative Arts Day
Given the multicultural nature of NSW schools, and taking into account Element 2 of the Professional Standards "Knowledge of and respect for the diverse social, cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds of students, and the effects of these factors on learning" (p.5) these courses are also relevant to teachers from all subject areas.

Their courses cover Elements 1 - 6 of the Teaching standards, focusing on the psychology behind and strategies for dealing with classroom issues.
